REMOVAL

1. Remove:
• Drive chain housing parts
Refer to "DRIVE CHAIN HOUSING".
• Secondary sheave assembly
Refer to "SECONDARY SHEAVE".
2. Install:
• Secondary shaft slide & holder 1
NOTE:
• This procedure does not require the use of the
collar 2 included with the special tool.
• Install the end a of the secondary shaft slide &
holder 1 to the engine.
Secondary shaft slide & holder:
90890-01492, YS-01492
3. Remove:
• Bearing collar nut 3
NOTE:
Remove the bearing collar nut using the ring nut
wrench 4.
Ring nut wrench:
90890-01268, YU-01268
4. Remove:
• Collar 5
• Secondary shaft 6
Removal steps:
• Tap the secondary shaft with a soft hammer
from the right side of the machine to remove the
collar 5.
• Remove the secondary shaft 6 from the right
side of the machine.
