9.1.2.2 Removal of External Temperature Sensor
(Air Top 2000 without Diagnosis)
General
The heater Air Top 2000 regulates the desired tempera-
ture the best when its temperature sensor is exposed to
the air temperature of the most probable surrounding in
use. This might not always be possible due to the instal-
lation conditions with the temperature sensor being inte-
grated in the heater. In such case the best temperature
control may be achieved by installation of an external
temperature sensor (Order No. 85049A) in the relevant
living area.
Procedure
1.
Remove control unit (see 8.7.2.1).
2.
Using a suitable tool (e.g. cutting pliers or similar)
remove temperature sensor from control unit.
