Selected display elements (icons, numerals, etc.), may
flash. There are three flash rates. See Table 1.

%SpO2 display. Shows the oxygen saturation level of
functional hemoglobin. Displays two dashes throughout
Sensor Disconnected and Sensor Off Patient conditions.
The display flashes the SpO
outside the alarm limits. If alarm limits have been
changed from their power-on defaults, a decimal point (.)
is shown after the SpO
Pulse Amplitude indicator (blip bar). The Pulse
Amplitude indicator indicates the dynamic pulse
amplitude and rate. As the detected pulse becomes
stronger, more bars light with each pulse.
In the parameter-set menu, the Pulse Amplitude
indicator displays with the number of shown elements
incremenated/decremented to reflect changes in the
volume level for alarms and Pulse Amplitude indicator
(blip bar).
