IF A BULB BURNS OUT

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
❒ Before changing a bulb check the contacts for
oxidation.
❒ Burnt bulbs must be replaced by others of the same
type and power.
WARNING
WARNING
Halogen bulbs must be handled touching only the metallic part. If the transparent bulb is touched
with the fingers, its lighting intensity is reduced and life of the bulb may be compromised. If touched
accidentally, rub the bulb with a cloth moistened with alcohol and allow to dry.
Where possible, have the lamps changed by Fiat Dealership. Correct operation and aiming of external
lights are essential for safe driving in compliance with law regulations.
Alterations or repairs to the electric system not carried out correctly and without
taking into account the system specifications may cause failures and the risk of
fire.
Halogen bulbs contain pressurised gas, in the case of breakage they may burst.
❒ Always check headlight aiming after changing a bulb
to ensure they are safe.
❒ When a light is not working, check that the
corresponding fuse is intact before changing a bulb.
For the location of fuses, refer to the paragraph "If a
fuse blows" in this section.
