Getting Started
External storage devices must be specially formatted before they can be
used. The first time a device is connected to one of the USB ports and a
recording feature is attempted, a message will be displayed directing the
user to the formatting section of the menu.
3.1 Formatting

Connect your external hard disk to one of the USB ports.

Press the Menu key on the remote control and select:
o Settings – Special functions – PVR

On selecting PVR you will be presented with the following screen:
