Adjusting the sound

You can adjust the sound characteristics to your
preference.

Select the item you want to adjust.
Each time you press the button,
the adjustable items change as
follows:
FAD*
(Fader)
VOL
(Volume)
Indication
To do:
FAD*
Adjust the front
and rear speaker
balance.
BAL
Adjust the left
and right speaker
balance.
WOOFER
**
Adjust the
subwoofer output
level.
VOL
Adjust the volume.
* If you are using a two-speaker system, set the fader
level to "00."
** This takes effect only when a subwoofer is
connected.

Adjust the level.
To increase the level.
To decrease the level.
Note:
Normally, the control dial works as the volume
control. So you do not have to select "VOL" to adjust
the volume level.

Reinforcing the bass sound

The richness and fullness of the bass sound is
clearly maintained regardless of how low you set
the volume – Super Bass.
• You can also adjust the level of Super Bass.

Press S.BASS.
"S.BASS" appears on the
display.

Adjust Super Bass level from
"S. BASS 00" (min.) to "S. BASS 08"
(max.).
Bass level indicator changes
according to the adjusted level.
To increase the level.
To decrease the level.
