Controlling the system

Function
To turn the system on and off - Pressing the On/Off
button on either the remote or control panel, turns the
system on to the source last selected. The display
window on the top panel of the system identifies the
source. To select a source (FM, AM, CD, or AUX) and
turn the system on at the same time, press the button
for that source. The display window confirms your
selection.
To adjust the volume level - Press the Volume
button to change the system volume. When you
press either Volume button, the display changes to
show a numerical value for the volume (Figure 7). The
selected volume stays the same when switching from
one source to another.
To mute the system - Using the remote control only,
press the Mute button to silence the system. Press
again to restore the volume.
