Work Area Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered benches and dark areas invite acci- dents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the pres- ence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes. - Page 6 with your finger on the switch or plugging in tools that have the switch on invites accidents. Remove adjusting keys or wrenches before turning the tool on. A wrench or a key that is left attached to a rotating part of the tool may result in personal injury. Do not overreach.

Depending on the material to be cut, you can choose between two different types of saw blades PROXXON provides. The correct selection of material has a very great influence on the quality of the result. You can find the description of the appropriate saw blades in the accessories-section. - Page 10 Note: The rip fence can also be used for circular cuts. For this purpose, position a nail at the center point of the circle and use as axis for the stop. The scale for circled cuts is on the back of the guide of the rip fence. Do not use solvents or cleansing agents containing alcohol (e.g. benzene, cleaning alcohol, etc.) as these can corrode the plastic housings.
