Multi-press mode

Your keypad has numbers 0 through 9, plus the * and # keys. Each
number key also represents three or four letters. In multi-press
mode, enter a letter by repeatedly pressing the key that represents
the letter you want until that letter is displayed.
EXAMPLE: To enter the letter c, press the 2 key three times
quickly.
To select another character from the same key that you have just
been using, you need to pause before starting to type again.
TIP: When using multi-press mode, the first letter of a
sentence is automatically capitalised.
More tips on text entry
• To switch between initial upper case, all upper case and all
lower case sub-modes, press and hold the *-key.
• To delete a single character, press the Power/Cancel key
briefly. To delete all the characters in the message area, press
and hold the Power/Cancel key.
• To enter a space in T9 mode or multi-press mode, press the
0 key.
