M - 6 SWIM PLATFORM
Four Winns provides an integrated fiberglass swim plat-
form on all models. An “add on” swim platform is stan-
dard and when installed extends the platform to approxi-
mately 35” on the 298 and 45” on the 328. For better
footing, a nonskid surface is provided. The ladder and
hand rails are located for easy access when boarding.
See Figure M3.
To prevent personal injury, DO NOT use the board-
ing ladder or swim platform while the engines
are operating or the boat is in motion. Engines
must be off when using the swim platform or
boarding ladder.
Keep hands and fingers away from ladder sup-
ports and hinges to prevent injury.
NOTICE
Always secure the ladder before boating. Dam-
age to the ladder may otherwise result.

M - 7 COCKPIT STORAGE
Storage compartments are provided throughout the cock-
pit area. See Figure M3 and M4. The doors have latches
and roller-type catches for easy opening and closing.
Storage space or shelves behind the doors are easily
accessible.

M - 8 TRANSOM STORAGE LOCKER
The transom storage provides fender storage and
dockside power cord storage. The storage lockers are
latched closed and have the capability to be locked. To
open, lift the handle. The latches are flush mounted to
prevent injury or accidental opening while underway. See
Figure M5.
