TRANSMISSION RANGE (TR) SWITCH FUNCTION [SJ6A-EL]
• The TR switch sends information on which range
is selected in the automatic transmission using a
combination of the position circuit terminals, and
its functions are as follows:
1. Enables engine starting only in P or N
positions
2. Used as shifting control signals
