ENGINE OPERATION
CAUTION
To prevent damage to the starter, do not engage the
starting motor for more than 30 seconds. Wait two
minutes between each attempt to start.
Engine oil pressure must be indicated on the gauge
within 15 seconds after starting ..
When starting a cold engine, increase the engine
speed (RPM) slowly to be sure adequate lubrication
is available to the bearings and to allow the oil
pressure to stabilize.
Idle the engine 3 to 5 minutes' at 1000 RPM before
operating with a load.
Check the oil pressure indicator(s), temperature
indicator(s), and other gauges daily to make sure
they are operating correctly.
The motor home will not move until the air brakes
and suspension systems are sufficiently full of air.
Normal brake system air pressure is 90 psi. The
motor home cannot be moved until at least 60 psi is
indicated on the air brake pressure gauge.
