GENERATOR
GENERATOR COOLING SYSTEM
The generator is liquid cooled. The cooling system includes a radiator,
electric cooling fan, a coolant reservoir/recovery container, and is .similar to
the automotive engine cooling system.
Check and maintain the coolant level at the coolant recovery container.'
CAUTION
Do not check the coolant system at the radiator cap
when the generator is hot. Check the system at the
COOLANT RECOVERY CONTAINER only.
GENERATOR MAINTENANCE
The generator is mounted on a motorized slide-out cradle. If you have a
front kntry door model, the generator slide-out switch is located under the top
entry step. On side entry door models, the switch is located inside the front
doorside storage compartment. Press the switch once to extend generator,
press again to retract.
NOTE: The front access hood must be closed securely
before extending or retracting the generator slide-out.
SPECIAL NOTE: If your motor home is equipped with the
front protective cover, THE COVER MUST BE REMOVED
BEFORE OPERA TlNG THE GENERATOR SLIDE-OUT
MECHANISM.
WARNING
Keep all obstacles and body parts clear of the
generator and slide-out mechanism when extending
or retracting the generator.

mation Package for details on generator operation and maintenance.
