MOTOR HOME LOADING·
MTW (Maximum Tongue Weight): means the maximum
vertical load that the towed load applies to the hitch of the
motor home. The MTW is listed 011 the wardrobe door tag.
Hitch Rating: This is the maximum load that the hitch
receiver assembly supplied with your motor home was
designed to tow. This rating may be affected by the type of .
hitch head assembly you select. Read Section 44 ''Towing
A Vehicle" before selecting a hitch head assembly or trailer.
This rating is listed on a tag affixed to the hitch receiver
assembly and is also noted on the wardrobe door tag.
UVW (Unloaded Vehicle Weight): This is the calculated
weight of the motor home, as built at the factory with full
fuel, engine oil (and other engine/drivetrain fluids) and LP
gas. The UVW does not include cargo, fresh water, passen-
gers, or accessories installed by the dealer. The UVW is
listed on the wardrobe door tag.
Carrying Capacity: This is the total weight of all passengers
including driver, personal belongings, food, water, tools,
tongue weight of trailer (if any), dealer installed accesso-
ries, etc., that can be carried by this motor home without
exceeding the GVWR. The carrying capacity is calculated
by subtracting the UVW from the GVWR.

("TOWED LOAD")
Note: Some states and provinces require brakes and safety
chains on towed vehicles. Consult the proper authorities in
the states or provinces through which you will be traveling.
