Welcome to the RV life-style and the growing family of motor home
owners. We sincerely thank you for choosing a Fleetwood motor home!
Your motor home has been designed to provide you with years of carefree,
pleasant traveling and vacationing. Your motor home has been built to meet or
exceed minimum requirements for plumbing, heating, electri<:al, fire safety
and vehicle systems. These minimum requirements are contained within the
American National Standards Institute A119.2 Standard on Recreational
Vehicles, the Canadian Standards Association Z-240 Standard on Recre-
ational Vehicles, the United States Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards,
the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations, the United States Environ-
mental Protection Agency Standards, and the CalifomiaAir Resources Board
Standards. Compliance with ANSI and CSA standards is indicated by the seal
attached just outside the entry door. Compliance with the Federal Motor
Vehicle Safety Standards or the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations is
indicated by the vehicle certification label attached to your motor home.
Like all finely crafted equipment, your motor home will require care and
regular maintenance in order to deliver maximum value and performance. The
dealer will give you basic operating and maintenance instructions; however,
supplement this by reading all instructional material furnished with the
motor home in the Owner's Information Package and Chassis Operator's
Manual. This information outlines important areas of maintenance and
provides a maintenance schedule for you to follow for safe, trouble free service
from your motor home. Study these instructions carefully before you operate
the motor home for the first time. A good working knowledge of your motor
home and how to care for it will help you enjoy many miles and years of
recreational living. Failure to follow the operating and maintenance instruc-
tions and requirelnellts could result in personal injury, damage to the motor
home and will calise a loss of warranty coverage.
