Adjustment Procedure
Loosen nut of the needle driving pulley pressure applying lever and
adjust it by screwing in and out screw
The clearance will become larger by screwing it in.
Adjustment Procedure
1. Adjust so that stop-motion hook
disc at the stop-motion position.
2. To adjust thread pull-off lever
opening in the machine arm side cover (left), loosen screw
adjust the position of nipper bar block (rear)

after sewing, change the position of nipper bar block (rear)

Results of Improper Adjustment
o If the clearance is too large, the
clutch will slip, causing difficulty in
starting.
o If the clearance is too small, the
starting pedal will become heavy.
In addition, not only the clutch will
be hard to be disengaged but also
the impact at the time of stop-
motion will be greater.
Results of Improper Adjustment
o If the adjustment value is too large,
at the beginning of stitching, the
thread will come out of the upper
and side of the fabric.
o If the adjustment value is too
small, the thread will slip off or
to come out of the wrong side of the
fabric at the first stitching and of
the upper side at the second
stitching.
o If the end of the thread is drawn
from arrow hole A in the button
after sewing, move nipper bar
block (rear)
move it to the right when the
thread end comes out from arrow
