SUB-SECTION 05 (503 ENGINE TYPE)

Prior to joining of crankcase halves, apply "Loctite
515" (4137027) on mating surfaces.
Position the crankcase halves together and tighten nuts
(or bolts) by hand then install armature plate (tighten)
on magneto side to correctly align the crankcase halves.
Torque nuts (or bolts) to 22 N- m (16 ft-Ibs) following il-
lustrated sequence .

Torque to 22 N- m (16 ft-Ibs).
To install magneto, refer to "Magneto" in this sect ion.
