Configuring the Switch

This section describes the procedures for the first-time configuration of the Avaya C360. The
factory defaults are set out in detail in the tables included in this chapter.
You may configure the Avaya C360 using the text-based Command Line Interface (CLI), the
built-in Avaya C360 Device Manager or Avaya Integrated Management.
For instructions on the CLI, see the Avaya C360 Reference Guide.
For instructions on the use of the graphical user interfaces, refer to the C360 Device Manager
User Guide on the Avaya C360 Documentation and Utilities CD.

Avaya C360 Default Settings

The default settings for the Avaya C360 switch and its ports are determined by the Avaya C360
firmware. These default settings are subject to change in newer versions of the Avaya C360
firmware. See the C360 Release Notes for the most up-to-date settings.
