Use the Up and Down [
buttons to select a frequency,
and then use the Left and Right
[
]/[
] buttons to adjust the
ENTER
level at that frequency.
The volume at each frequency can be
adjusted from –6 to +6 dB in 1 dB
steps.
Tip: Low frequencies (e.g., 160 Hz)
affect bass sounds; high frequencies

(e.g., 6300 Hz) affect treble sounds.

Use the Up [
"Channel," and then use the Left
and Right [
select another speaker.

Repeat step 6 and 7 for each speaker.

Press the [SETUP] button.
The setup menu closes.
Notes:
• When the listening mode is set to Direct or Pure
Audio, no effect will be produced.
• Depending on the input source or listening mode, the
Equalizer settings may not produce the desired effect.
• This procedure can also be performed on the AV
receiver/AV amplifier by using its [SETUP] button,
arrow buttons, and [ENTER] button.

THX Audio Setup
These settings are not set automatically by the Auto-
matic Speaker Setup function (see page 54).
With the Surr Back Sp Spacing setting, you can specify
the distance between your surround back speakers.

Press the [RECEIVER] REMOTE
MODE button, followed by the
[SETUP] button.
The main menu appears onscreen.

Use the Up and Down [ ]/[ ]
buttons to select "2. Speaker
Setup," and then press [ENTER].
The Speaker Setup menu appears.
