REMOVING THE REAR SUSPENSION

Read carefully (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL
INFORMATION).
Place the motorcycle on the center stand.
WARNING
Wait until the engine and exhaust muffler have
cooled completely.
CAUTION
Remove one shock absorber at a time.
To keep the vehicle in position, always leave one
shock absorber fitted.
NOTE
Perform the following operations on both
shock absorbers.
Unscrew and remove the bottom screws (4) and be
sure to keep the nut (5).
Unscrew and remove the screw (2) and be sure to
keep the nut (3).
Remove the shock absorber (6).
