5.2 The VIDEO SERVER eneo GL-Manager

This section provides instructions for installing and using the eneo GL-Manager and Image
Viewer, which are included with the VIDEO SERVER. The programs can be operated by a
selected PC equipped with the following requirements.
System Requirements
l
Intel Pentium 1.5 GHz processor or above (2.8 GHz or higher recommended).
l
128-MB RAM at least (256-MB or higher recommended).
l
Windows 2000, XP or above.
l
4 MB VGA card capable of 24-bit true color display.
l
100 MB free hard-disk space for software installation.
l
10/100 Base-TX network for LAN operation.
l
The Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 above.
In the multi-channel recording mode, the HD data transfer rates must be 66MB or above (100MB
or higher recommended).

5.2.1 Introduction to eneo GL-Manager

The eneo GL-Manager allows you to access many units of the Video Server from a remote
desktop or a laptop in a TCP/IP networking environment. It can perform the following
functions.
l
View live images from the Video Server.
l
Store, search, and review recorded video from an FTP server, PC, and SD card.
l
Change a regular record, event record, and timer properties.
Before you are ready to view images from a desktop, you need to have your Video Server
networked by obtaining a 10/100 base-TX Ethernet data cable (Standard RJ-45) to connect
the Video Server to your LAN/WAN. Now enter the main menu to set the IP address.
