3.3. Procedures of RF Repair

3.3.1 GSM and WCDMA repair procedures

The following flow chart shows repair's procedures that comprise
of calibration, pretest, and general repair processes. In the beginning
of repair procedures, "production version" image (also called as OS or
firmware) should be downloaded for RF calibration and backup
calibration files. Calibrating GM2 or backup calibration files might
encounter some problems under ship version images. GM2 can be
judged good RF performance after passing conductive pretest.
There are four kinds of general RF debug about GSM and
WCDMA phone functions, including GSM Tx debug, GSM Rx debug,
WCDMA Tx debug and WCDMA Rx debug. Each debug method is
described specifically in following sections.
