INTERCOMMUNICATING DOOR ENTRY SYSTEMS

TWO USER INTERCOMMUNICATING SYSTEM

The diagram on figure "A" shows a two user intercommunicating system
without outdoor station. The power supply Art.520J which incorporates
active impedance is specific for these systems.
Operation:
- Intercoms have buzzer call;
- From each Intercom the other can be called pressing the
button, while the is not used.
The diagram on figure "B" shows the same system but with a speaker unit
with two push buttons (one for each extension). The external call is a
buzzer call while the intercommunicating call is an electronic call tone.
Operation:
- Each one of the two users can call the other picking up the handset then
pressing the push button. An intercommunicating call will
automatically interrupt any conversation in progress with the outdoor
station.
- The visitor call one of the two users by pressing the relevant push button
on the outdoor station;
- The call will enable the buzzer of the called intercom;
- If an intercommunicating conversation is in progress, hang up both the
handsets to answer to the incoming call;
- The user picks up the handset to answer and then can open the door
pressing the push button;
- The system will be switched off when both handsets are hung up;
- Picking up the handset with the system switched off, each user can talk
with the outdoor station and open the door pressing the
button.
Installing the system
a. Consult the table below to obtain the necessary items required.
b. Run the correct size cables (see page 25). See block diagram for
number of cores;
c. Test installation (see page 25) and in case of any problem see the
troubleshooting guide of this manual (see page 26).
Accessories
It is possible to install on the system additional accessories:
- Installation of an extension sounder (see page 23 fig.4);
Note
- The call tone comes from the ear piece of the handset (installation
on figure B): to avoid damage to the hearing, do not leave the
handset close to the ear while the relevant hook switch on the base
is down for any reason;
- The system on figure "B" uses the Art.510N which incorporates a call
tone generator and the circuitry to cut off the speech line from the
speaker unit when an intercommunicating conversation is in progress.

SISTEMA INTERCOMUNICANTE A DUE UTENTI

Lo schema in figura "A" mostra un impianto intercomunicante a due utenti,
senza posto esterno. L'alimentatore Art.520J che incorpora un'impedenza
attiva, è specifico per l'utilizzo in questo genere d'impianti.
Funzionamento:
- La chiamata è su ronzatore;
push - Da ognuno dei due citofoni è possibile chiamare l'altro premendo il
pulsante
Lo schema di figura "B" mostra lo stesso impianto modificato per l'utilizzo
di un posto esterno con 2 pulsanti di chiamata (uno per ogni interno). La
chiamata da esterno è su ronzatore, mentre quella intercomunicante è con
nota elettronica.
Funzionamento:
- Ciascuno dei due utenti può chiamare l'altro sollevando la cornetta e
premendo il pulsante
un'eventuale conversazione in corso con il posto esterno;
- Il visitatore chiama uno dei due utenti del sistema premendo il relativo
pulsante sul posto esterno;
- La chiamata dall'esterno attiverà il ronzatore del citofono chiamato;
- Se è in corso una conversazione intercomunicante, per rispondere
occorre riagganciare prima entrambe le cornette;
- L'utente chiamato risponde sollevando la cornetta e può aprire la porta
premendo il pulsante
- L'impianto si spegne quando tutte le cornette sono agganciate;
- Sollevando la cornetta con l'impianto a riposo, ciascuno dei due utenti
può parlare con il posto esterno ed aprire la porta premendo il pulsante
push .
Realizzazione dell'impianto
a. Consultare le tabelle di fondo pagina per il materiale occorrente;
b. Posare il cavo rispettando le sezioni dei fili (vedi pag.25);
c. Eseguire il collaudo dell'impianto (vedi pag.25) ed in caso di problemi
consultare la ricerca guasti del presente manuale (vedi pag.26);
Accessori
È possibile installare nell'impianto degli accessori aggiuntivi:
- Installazione di una suoneria supplementare (vedi pag.23 fig.4);
Note
- La nota elettronica è emessa dallo speaker interno alla cornetta
(impianto di figura B): per evitare danni all'udito, non tenere mai la
cornetta accostata all'orecchio se il relativo gancio sulla base è
abbassato;
- L'impianto di figura "B" utilizza l'Art.510N che oltre ad essere un
generatore di nota elettronica, svolge anche la funzione di staccare la
fonia verso il posto esterno quando è in corso una conversazione
intercomunicante.
