The electric lock does not work:
- Pressing the "door open" push button, check that the voltage on the
electric lock terminals is higher than 10Vac;
- Wrong size of cables (see page 25);
- Wires to the electric lock broken or in short circuit;
- Speaker unit defective;
- Electric Lock defective.

The Buzzer call does not work
Check the 12Vac line:
- From the power supply terminal output;
- Speaker unit push button common terminal "C";
- Relevant push button terminal ("Px" on the speaker unit or one terminal
of the extension module);
- Terminal "6" of the intercom.
Possible reasons of the damage:
- Power supply defective;
- 12Vac wire broken or in short circuit;
- No contact on the call button;
- Buzzer defective or wrong adjusted.
The electronic call tone does not work
Check the call tone routing:
- Terminal "C" of the Art.509N;
- Terminal "C" (push buttons common) of the speaker unit;
- Relevant push button terminal ("Px" on the speaker unit or one terminal
of the extension module);
- Terminal "C" of the intercom.
Possible reasons for the problem:
- Art.509N defective or not powered;
- Wire between terminal "C" of the Art.509N and terminal "C" of the
speaker unit, broken or in short circuit;
- Call wire broken or in short circuit;
- Intercom defective.
No speech line from and to the outdoor station:
- Speaker unit not supplied, check 8Vdc between terminals "3" (+)and "4"
(-)
- Wires "3" or "–" broken or in short circuit;
- Wires "1" or "2" broken or in short circuit;
- Speaker unit defective;
- Intercom defective.
No speech line from the intercom to the speaker unit:
- Wire "1" broken or in short circuit;
- Check the voltage between terminals "1" and "4":
a. +8V with handset hung up and the speech line disabled;
b. about 4V with the handset picked up and the speech line enabled
(conversation in progress);
- Speaker unit defective;
- Intercom defective.
No speech line from the speaker unit to the intercom:
- Wire "2" broken or in short circuit;
- Check the voltage between terminals "2" and "4":
a. +8V with handset hung up and the speech line disabled;
b. about 1V with the handset picked up and the speech line enabled
(conversation in progress);
- Speaker unit microphone out from its housing or outlet hole closed;
- Speaker unit defective;
- Intercom defective.
Hum:
- Make sure ducts for cables are separated from other electrical lines;
- Make sure that two separate negatives come from the power supply:
a. One cable to supply the speech line (to terminal "4" of the speaker
unit);
b. One cable to supply the speaker unit LEDs (terminal. "
speaker unit) and the card name lamps inside the extension
modules (Art.843, 844 and 845);
- Wrong size of cables (see page 25);
- Mains power inferior by 10% of rating.
Serratura elettrica non funzionante:
- Verificare che la tensione tra i morsetti della serratura elettrica sia
superiore a 10Vac con il pulsante "apri-porta" premuto;
- Sezione dei fili inadeguata (consultare l'apposito paragrafo a pag.25);
- Fili verso la serratura interrotti o in corto circuito;
- Portiere elettrico difettoso;
- Serratura elettrica difettosa.
IMPIANTI "4+1" CON SEGRETO DI CONVERSAZIONE (PORTIERE
ELETTRICO ART.837)
Non funziona la chiamata sul ronzatore:
Controllare il percorso della tensione 12Vac:
- Morsetto d'uscita dall'alimentatore;
- Morsetto "C" (comune pulsanti) del portiere elettrico;
- Morsetto relativo al pulsante di chiamata ("Px" sul portiere elettrico
oppure uno dei morsetti del modulo pulsantiera);
- Morsetto "6" del citofono.
Possibili cause:
- Alimentatore difettoso o in protezione;
- Filo 12Vac interrotto o in cortocircuito;
- Il pulsante di chiamata non chiude il contatto;
- Ronzatore difettoso o regolato male.
Non funziona la chiamata tramite nota elettronica:
Controllare il percorso della nota elettronica:
- Morsetto "C" dell'Art.509N;
- Morsetto "C" (comune pulsanti) del portiere elettrico;
- Morsetto relativo al pulsante di chiamata ("Px" sul portiere elettrico
oppure uno dei morsetti del modulo pulsantiera);
- Morsetto "C" del citofono.
Possibili cause:
- Art.509N non alimentato o difettoso;
- Filo dal morsetto "C" del 509N al morsetto "C" del portiere elettrico
interrotto o in corto circuito;
- Filo di chiamata interrotto o in cortocircuito;
- Citofono difettoso.
Assenza di fonia da e verso il posto esterno:
- Alimentazione 8Vdc assente sui morsetti "3"(+) e "4"(-) del portiere;
- Fili "3" o "–" interrotti o in cortocircuito;
- Fili "1" e "2" interrotti o in cortocircuito;
- Portiere elettrico difettoso;
- Citofono difettoso.
Assenza di fonia dal citofono verso il posto esterno:
- Filo "1" interrotto o in cortocircuito;
- Controllare che la tensione tra i morsetti "1" e "4" sia:
a. +8V con cornetta agganciata e fonia disabilitata (impianto a riposo);
b. 4V circa con cornetta sollevata e fonia abilitata (impianto in
funzione);
- Portiere elettrico difettoso;
- Citofono difettoso.
Assenza di fonia dal posto esterno verso il citofono:
- Filo "2" interrotto o in cortocircuito;
- Controllare che la tensione tra i morsetti "2" e "4" sia:
a. +8V con cornetta agganciata e fonia disabilitata (impianto a riposo);
b. 1V circa con cornetta sollevata e fonia abilitata (impianto in
funzione);
- Microfono portiere elettrico fuori sede o con foro di sfogo otturato;
- Portiere elettrico difettoso;
- Citofono difettoso.
Fonia con rumore di fondo:
- Conduttori canalizzati con la linea elettrica o con altre linee di potenza;
- Accertarsi che dall'alimentatore partano 2 fili distinti di cui:
a. Uno per l'alimentazione fonica (al morsetto "4" del portiere
elettrico).
" of the b. Uno per l'alimentazione dei LED del portiere elettrico (morsetto.
" ") e delle lampade d'illuminazione cartellini dei moduli
pulsantiera (Art.843, 844, 845);
- Sezione dei fili inadeguata (consultare l'apposito paragrafo a pag.25);
- Tensione di rete inferiore del 10% di quanto indicato nei dati di targa
dell'alimentatore.
