In case of a malfunction, the text "ERROR" appears on the display together with an error
code and short instructions. An error message may be caused by incorrect settings, defec-
tive elements or seam patterns, as well as by overload conditions. For the explanation of the
error code, see Chapter "Explanation of error messages" in the appropriate adjustment
manual.
