(2) Dark background density

Has the OPC drum being exposed to external light?
Yes - Set the OPC drum in the OKIPAGE 8z and wait for about 30 minutes.
No - Is the heat roller of the heat assy dirty?
Yes - Clean the heat roller.
No - Is the terminal of the EP image drum unit in correct contact with the contact plate? (See Figure 6-4 D and
Figure 6-5 D.)
No - Contact the terminal correctly.
Yes - Replace the EP image drum unit.
Has this error been recovered?
Yes - End
Caution:
After replacing the EP image drum unit, reset the drum counter. Refer to "Replacing the Image Drum
Cartridge" in the "User's Manual".
No - Replace the main control board or high-voltage power supply board.
