MAINTENANCE AND TUNE-UP PROCEDURES

This section describes the servicing procedures for each item of
the Periodic Maintenance requirements.

AIR CLEANER

Clean every 3 months.
If the air cleaner is clogged with dust, intake resistance will be
increased, with a resultant decrease in power output and an
increase in fuel consumption. Check and clean the air cleaner
element in the following manner.
• Remove the footrest rid. (
• Remove the air cleaner box cap 1 .
• Remove the air cleaner element 2 .
