12. Make sure that the o-ring and threads are clean and greased before replacing the front

Loosen the lens set screws for focus/zoom adjustments.
Use the set screw marked N <— —> ∞ to adjust image focus.
Turn the set screw to the left to focus toward (N) (near) (zoom in).
Turn the set screw to the right to focus toward (F) (far) / infinite (∞) (zoom out).
Use the set screw marked T <— —> W to adjust the telephoto or wide-angle settings.
Turn the set screw to the left for a telephoto (tight) focal length
Turn the set screw to the right for a wider focal length.
Re-tighten the lens set screws after focus adjustments have been completed.

Section 8 Operation, page 24.
