Removing the Video PCA
(HP Authorized Service Providers Only)
Required Equipment
• Small Phillips screwdriver.
Removal Procedure
1. Unplug the AC adapter, if present, and remove the battery.
2. Remove these additional assemblies:
• Keyboard cover (page 2-9).
• Keyboard (page 2-11).
• Display assembly (page 2-17).
• Top case (page 2-19).
• Hinge saddle set (page 2-23).
3. Note and record the settings of the PCA's DIP switches.
