Setting a Route to Your Destination

For safety reasons, these functions are not
available while your car is in motion. Stop
and apply the parking brake before use.

Some information on traffic regulations by
days or time is indicated according to the time
when the route calculation is performed.
Thus, it may not correspond with a certain
traffic regulation when your car actually
passes the location. Also, the information of
the traffic regulations provided will be for a
passenger car, and not for a truck/lorry or
other delivery cars. When driving your car, fol-
low the actual traffic regulations.

If you press the NAVI button during route cal-
culation, the calculation is cancelled and the
map display appears.
Selecting the country/area
where you want to search
When searching for your destination, your Navi-
gation System searches for it in the country/area
currently selected. Therefore, if your destination
is in another country/area, you must change the
country/area setting before starting the destina-
tion search.

From the Main menu, select "Destina-
tion".

Touch "Search Area".

Touch the area code of the destination
area and touch "OK'.
When you have returned to the previous dis-
play, go to the search operation.
Finding Your Destination by
Selecting the Type of Facility
Information about various facilities (Points Of
Interest - POI), such as gas stations, amusement
parks or restaurants is available. By selecting the
category (or entering the POI Name), you can
search for a Point Of Interest.

You can also narrow down the search range
by initially specifying the name of the city or
township where your destination is located.
Searching for Points of Interest
(POI)

Touch "Destination" in the Main menu,
and then touch "POI Search".

Touch "Category".
If you already know the name of the facility,
then proceed to Step 5.
"City" :
Touch if you wish to first specify the destina-
tion town or area.

Touch the category.
POI's are divided into several categories.
If the category is not sub-divided into more
detailed categories, the list will not be dis-
played. Proceed to Step 5.
"Name"
Touch if you wish to first specify the POI
Name.
