(4) "Speed pulse wire is not connected.
System will start to learn without
speed pulse. Please keep in mind that
accuracy is not fully ensured without
speed pulse."
When:
The speed signal input (pink lead wire) of the
power cable is not connected.
What to do:
To operate with 3D hybrid mode, connect the
speed signal input (pink lead wire) of the power
cable correctly. Although it can be operated with
Simple hybrid mode without connecting the
speed signal input, the precision of the position-
ing will be less accurate.
(5) "Vibration is detected. Please power
off the system and check the installa-
tion. After you have checked, please
re-boot the system and press "OK" ."
When:
While the car is stationary, the Navigation Sys-
tem is installed in a place where the main unit
may be affected by a large vibration.
What to do:
Re-install the main unit of the Navigation System
in a place where the main unit will not be
affected by vibration.
(6) "Direction of G sensor is not correct.
Please power off the system and
check the installation. After you have
checked, please re-boot the system
and press "OK" ."
When:
Direction of G sensor is set incorrectly.
What to do:
See the "Installation Manual" and set the direc-
tion of G sensor correctly.
(7) "Gyro Sensor is not working properly.
Please consult your dealer or Pioneer
service center."
When:
Abnormal output of Gyrosensor is detected.
What to do:
Note down the error code shown on the screen;
turn off the power, and then contact your nearest
Pioneer service facility.

(8) "Your route could not be found."
When:
If the distance to the destination is too far and
cannot be set.
What to do:
Change the destination to a location that is
closer and divide up the route.
(9) "The route could not avoid the speci-
fied area."
When:
If route setting cannot avoid specified Areas to
Avoid.
What to do:
Choose whether or not to try setting a route
through the area.
(10)"Memory is Full."
When:
If there are already 300 items when you attempt
to register an item in the Address Book.
What to do:
Delete some destinations as appropriate.
(11)"Memory Full."
When:
When there is no more free space in the PC card.
What to do:
Delete unnecessary data.
(12)"Irregular character strings. Please
input again."
When:
A symbol that cannot be pronounced was
entered.
What to do:
Enter a word that can be pronounced.
(13)"An error has occurred. Please note
the following error code and switch
power off."
When:
In the case of a system failure.
What to do:
Note down the error code shown on the screen;
turn off the power, and then contact your nearest
Pioneer service facility.
