When the unit is in the TEL
mode, the arrow indicator on
the display points to "TEL".

"TAD", "FAX" or both "TEL" and
"FAX", press
RECEIVE MODE
When the unit rings, you must
answer all calls.
If you hear a fax calling tone
(slow beep) or no sound is
heard, press
START/COPY/SET
If you are near the unit and
want to use it to receive your
voice calls yourself and fax
calls automatically, see pages
48 to 51.
If you answer a telephone in
another room and hear the fax
tone, you can activate the unit
remotely by pressing
(p. 47).
