mounting the tilt/motion sensor
The sensor control module must be mounted at an angle no greater than 45 degrees,
with respect to the horizontal plane of the vehicle, and it must be mounted with the
case top facing upward. We recommend mounting the control module to the floor of
the vehicle. To mount the control module, fasten the unit with either Velcro or screws.
TM
programming the sensor
The unit has selectable dipswitch settings for both the tilt threshold and the motion sen-
sitivity levels. The dipswitches are located on the side of the sensor next to the harness
plug. Dipswitch 1 controls the tilt sensitivity threshold, and dipswitches 2 and 3 con-
trol the motion sensitivity threshold. Dipswitch 4 will control the arming delay from
either 10 seconds or 2 minutes. One second after the unit has powered up, the 507T
has an internal LED that will flash in two groups to indicate which sensitivity settings
have been programmed. The first group of LED flashes indicates the tilt sensitivity set-
ting, and the second group indicates the motion sensitivity setting.
