Main Menu key
Press to return to the Main Menu screen.
Touch Panel Display
The settings screen for each function is shown on this display. You
can operate the machine by touching the screen. Six function keys
are displayed by default.
Numeric keys
Press to enter numeric values.
Control Panel Power Switch (Sub Power Supply)
Press to set or cancel the Sleep mode.
For more information about Sleep mode, see p. 145.
USB Port
Port for USB memory media.
Settings/Registration key
Press to register or specify function settings.
Counter Check key
Press to display the copy and print count totals on the touch panel
display.
Stop key
Press to stop the job in progress.
Edit Pen
Use to operate the touch panel display.
Start key
Press to start an operation.

Main Power Indicator
Lights when the main power is turned ON.
Error Indicator
Flashes or lights if there is an error in the machine.
Processing/Data Indicator
Flashes or blinks green when the machine is performing operations,
and maintains a steady green light when I-fax or fax data is stored
in memory.
Clear key
Press to clear entered values or characters.
Reset key
Press to restore the standard settings of the machine.
ID (Log In/Out) key
Press to log in/out when a login service is set.
Brightness Adjustment Dial
Use to adjust the brightness of the touch panel display.
Volume Settings key
Press to display the screen for adjusting settings, such as the
transmission volume and fax sending/receiving alarm volume.
Status Monitor/Cancel key
Press to check the job status or cancel the print jobs.
Quick Menu key
Press to display previously registered functions.
