Useful Send Functions
This section describes the main functions on the Basic Features screen of the Scan and Send function. For more information on the
functions, see e-Manual > Scan and Send.

Automatically Scan Front and Back Sides of Documents
Set to send two-sided originals. You can select [Book Type] or
[Calendar Type].

Send an Open Book onto 2 Sheets of Paper
You can send facing pages in a book onto separate sheets of paper.
[Different Size Originals]
Send Documents of Different Sizes at Once
You can scan and send differently sized originals fed together in one
group.

[Erase Frame]
Erase Shading and Bindings From Documents
This mode enables you to erase shadows that appear when scanning
various types of originals. You can also erase the shadows of the
punch holes.

machine to automatically adjust the exposure.
