Advanced picture settings

The advanced settings enable you to set the picture
adjustment in more detail. There are twelve options
you can choose from.
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

Press c/d to select "Setup".

Press b/c/d to select "Picture".

Press a / b to select "Advanced", and then

press ENTER.
Press a / b to select the desired menu, and

then press ENTER.
Press a / b to select the desired level, and

then press ENTER if necessary.
H C.M.S.-hue
This function adjusts the hue of a selected colour using
a six-colour adjustment system.
H C.M.S.-saturation
This function increases or decreases the saturation of a
selected colour using a six-colour adjustment system.
H C.M.S.-value
This function makes the image brighter or darker
depending on the value of the setting.
w Colour temp. (Colour Temperature)
Adjusts the colour temperature to give the best white
image.

R/G/B Gain Adjusts the white balance by changing
(LO), R/G/B the value of each item.

w Quick shoot (Fine Motion Next)
Using the advanced "Quick shoot" function can view
the high speed motion image more clearly.
Selected item
Advanced Through turn on/off the method of LED
(Scan) backlight based on the 100/120 frames
per second picture, the motion scene can
be more clearly.
Advanced Double the 50/60 frames per second
(High) picture to 100/120 frames per second by
inserting frames, making the picture more
smooth, and the fast motion scene, the
indistinct scene from taking pictures more
clearly.

Off Turn off "Quick shoot".
NOTE
• "Quick shoot" may cause image noise. If this occurs, turn the
function "Off".
H Gamma adjustment
Adjust mid-level brightness. The adjustment range
of the gamma can be set to a maximum of +2 and a
minimum of -2 by pressing c or d .
H Film mode
Automatically detects a fi lm-based source (originally
encoded at 24/25 frames/second, depending on the
vertical frequency), analyses it then recreates each still
fi lm frame for high-defi nition picture quality.

(High) with high quality.
Advanced Display moving picture smoothly with
(Low) high quality.
Display every picture frame in equal
Standard

Off Film mode off.
NOTE
• Film mode is not selectable depending on the input signal
type.
H Active contrast
Automatically adjusts the contrast of an image
according to the scene.
H DNR (Digital Noise Reduction)
Reduces noise on screen and produces a clearer video
image. ("Auto", "High", "Middle", "Low", "Off").
