In the command line:
• The letter e is the designation of the CD-ROM drive on your system.
• The optional -c parameter is used for specifying which card to test.
By default, DDTP tests only the first card detected in the system.
• The optional -l parameter defines a file in which to log the test results.
A text copy of the DDTP test results are placed in the specified file.
For example, to test the second card in a system and store the test results in
log.txt in the current directory, you could enter the following command:
>dos4gw e:\diag\ddtp -c 1 -l log.txt
• The optional -e parameter activates the external loopback test. Both the
internal and external loopback example tests show 1000 packets successfully
received with 0 errors detected, indicating that the card is functioning properly.
The test result from the previous example could look like this:
