    Model GA511 features leading-edge bus-mastering capabilities to optimize throughput while maintaining low CPU utilization. Bus mastering allows the GA511 to assume control of your PC's system bus, accelerating data transfers. 16-bit PC Cards, by comparison, act as a bus slave and pass data through the CPU before sending it to the host system.
