(NightShot)
When you press NIGHTSHOT,
and you can record images even in total
darkness.
Press NIGHTSHOT again to cancel the
NightShot function.
Using NightShot in bright places will cause a
malfunction of your camcorder.

adjustments using the MANUAL dial,
by assigning a menu item ([Focus] in the
default setting) to the MANUAL dial.

How to use the MANUAL dial
Press MANUAL to switch to manual
operation mode, and rotate the dial to
appears,
make the adjustment. Pressing MANUAL
switches the operation mode between
manual and automatic.
To assign a menu item
Press and hold MANUAL for a few seconds
to display the [Dial Setting] screen. Rotate
the MANUAL dial to assign an item. You
can assign [Focus], [Exposure], [IRIS],
[Shutter Speed], [AE Shift], or [White
Balance Shift].
Using a tripod
Attach a tripod (sold separately) to the
tripod receptacle using a tripod screw (sold
separately, the length of the screw must be
less than 5.5 mm (7/32 in.)).
