Start Up Press the STANDBY button on the DVD player or remote control. Turn on the TV and select the video input connected to the DVD player. Basic Playback 1. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray, place a disc into the disc tray with the label facing up. -

Advanced Playback The following functions are applicable only to DVD discs. If other disc formats are played, the screen display and operation will be different. Preference Setup Page The preference setting is only active when there is no DVD disc in the DVD player or the DVD player is in STOP mode. The setting will be saved and effective whenever the DVD player is power on. TV Type In order for the disc to play, the colour system of the DVD player, disc and TV should match. -

Parental This feature allows you to block disc playback with specific ratings. The rating levels are from 1 to 8 and are country dependent. You can prohibit the playing of certain discs that are not suitable for your children, or you can have certain discs played with alternative scenes. -
