Other problems

Problem
The drying
process goes on
too long or even
switches off.
Possible cause
Please check all the possible causes and switch the dryer
off and then back on again.
Ventilation to and from the
dryer may be insufficient (e.g
because it is installed in a
small room). This has caused
the temperature in the room
to rise sharply.
The fluff filters and fine filters
are clogged with fluff,
detergent residues or hair.
The fluff filters and the fine
filters were still wet when they
were replaced.
The laundry has not been
spun sufficiently.
The tumble dryer has been
overloaded.
Metallic components, e.g.
zips have prevented the
dryer from registering the
correct moisture level in the
laundry.
Problem solving guide
Remedy
Open a door or window while
the dryer is in operation for
increased air flow.
– Remove any fluff, hair or
detergent residues:
. . . from the fluff filters in
the door and the door
opening.
. . . from the fine filter in
front of the heat exchanger
unit.
– Clean the fluff filters and, if
necessary, the fine filters.
The fluff filters and fine filters
must be dry.
Make sure that your laundry
is thoroughly spun at the
appropriate spin speed in the
washing machine.
Do not exceed the maximum
load for the programme
selected.
– Open zips next time.
If the problem occurs again,
dry garments with long zips
using the Warm air
programme (timed drying).
