Problem
Settings I have made have
been cleared.
USB (external storage)
device does not work with
this unit properly.
Display window is dark.
"OC ERROR" is displayed
on the unit's display
window.
The CONNECT indicator
of the wireless subwoofer
is flashing.

Check
y Have you disconnected the
power cord while the unit's
power was on?
y Has there been a power
failure?
Is the USB device properly
connected?
Is the USB device connected
via an extension cable?
Is the external storage device
connected to the USB port
terminal via a memory card
reader or USB hub?
Does the external storage
device contain multiple
partitions?
Is the external storage device
write-protected?
Is the external storage device's
file system FAT16, FAT32 or
NTFS?
Remedy
Always press u STANDBY/ON on the unit's front panel or u STANDBY/
ON on the remote control, check that POWER OFF has turned off from
the unit's front panel display and wait for more than 10 seconds before
disconnecting the power cord. Be particularly careful when the power
cord is connected to the AC outlet on another device because the unit
turns off in conjunction with the device.
y Turn the unit's power off, then turn the power back on.
y Turn the unit's power off, then reconnect the external storage device
(page 26).
Do not use an extension cable. The unit may not work properly with it.
External storage device may not work if connected to the USB port
terminal via a memory card reader or USB hub.
External storage devices may not be recognized if they contain multiple
partitions.
Turn the unit's power off, then disable the write-protection.
Only external storage devices with a FAT16, FAT32 or NTFS file system
can be used.
Some external storage devices may not operate.
Press DIMMER on the remote and select the desired display brightness.
Unplug the unit and contact the Pioneer Customer Support Center.
