    INSPECTION BEFORE OPERATION WARNING! You MUST check oil level, fuel level, air cleaner filter, battery and connections, determine if the glow plug heater element is needed and unplug any load from the generator before starting generator to prevent permanent damage to generator or any appliances.
  • Page 7 STARTING/STOPPING YOUR GENERATOR BEFORE STARTING YOU GENERATOR- IT MUST BE GROUNDED FIRST! GROUNDING Before operating make sure to ground the generator. A ground terminal identified by the ground symbol can be found on the front control panel of the generator, attach a metal spike to a wire, attach the wire to the ground terminal and ground the metal spike into the earth.

    MAINTENANCE & STORAGE Maintaining your generator Warning! Turn the generator off before performing any maintenance. Engine Oil Replacement Engine oil should be replaced after the first 20 hours of operation or the first month of use, it should be replaced every 100 hours or 3 months after. If the engine oil is not replaced regularly as mentioned, you risk piston seizure, piston ring sticking and accelerated wear of the cylinder liner, bearing and other moving components.
