    PRE-START CHECK & STARTING PROCEDURES PRE-START CHECK AIR CLEANER FILTER The air cleaner filter should be checked before every start-up and after prolonged storage, the following steps should be done when checking air cleaner filter: 1) Loosen and remove the cover knob (A) Fig.3 and then remove the air cleaner cover (B). 2) Remove the air cleaner filter (C), wash filter in kerosene, squeeze kerosene out, soak filter in engine oil and squeeze engine oil out.
