Caution:
Oil Traps: oil traps must be fitted to vertical suction risers where outdoor unit is above indoor unit. Fit a trap at the bottom
of the vertical rise and then at 5m (maximum) intervals.
If the outdoor unit is installed below the indoor unit (fig 1) – no trap is required in such installation.
If the units are installed at the same level – no trap is required in such installation.
