LOCATE

Press the LOCATE switch, and the LOCATE and ESC
LED's will begin to flash indicating that locate mode is
active. When locate mode is on, the labels in grey beside
the lower panel switches indicate their use.
Pressing one or two number switches followed by GO
recalls a memory position. Press ESC (in grey next to the
DELETE switch) to exit locate mode.
RTZ (Return to Zero)
Press RTZ and the play pointer will move to the start of
the session time line.

Monitor Section

The monitor section has 3 rotary pots and 2 switches to
control 2 sets of speakers and a front panel headphone
jack.
Typically, you would have the Speaker 1 outputs on the
MIM connected to your main control room speakers and
the Speaker 2 outputs on the MIM connected to your
auxiliary control room speakers or to speakers in the
studio or overdub room.
Monitor Interface Module (MIM)
The Speaker 1 pot controls the volume of the speakers
fed from the Speaker 1 outputs on the MIM, and the
switch just below the pot turns the speaker on and off.
This switch is convenient to turn off the main control
room speakers and use the headphones if you track from
the control room .
The Speaker 2 pot controls the volume of the speakers
fed from the Speaker 3 outputs on the MIM, and the
switch just below the pot turns the speaker on and off.
This switch is convenient to turn off the auxiliary control
room speakers or studio speakers during tracking over-
dubs.
The Phones pot controls the volume of the headphone
jack on the front edge of MotorMate.
