    C2-2450A O PERATION ANUAL MENU LAYOUT AND SETTINGS ADJUSTMENT From here on, we’ll be looking at the menu structure and the individual menu items that allow you to take advantage of the power of the unit. You’ll be using the multi-directional switch and the On screen Display (OSD) to view the options and settings available to you.

    C2-2450A O PERATION ANUAL In some cases the functionality is global – meaning it has an effect on the unit as a whole (such as changing the output resolution). In the majority of cases, the function is related to a specific operational area of the unit, detailed by the text in the top line.

Types of output vary depending on the resolution selected and include various types of component signals YUV or tlYUV (tri-level YUV) and the full range of RGB type signals RGBHV, RGBS and RGsB (Sync on green).

    C2-2450A O PERATION ANUAL Adjust Blend Aspect adjust [Simple] The ‘Aspect adjust’ parameter is used to change the way that scaling of windows is controlled. By default it is set to ‘Pixel which allows full control of window zoom and shrink sizes and positions.

In the case of the your unit, it tells the graphic card what resolutions are compatible with it.

    C2-2450A O PERATION ANUAL EDGE-BLENDING SETUP 12.1 Introduction Edge-blending is a method whereby two or more video/data projectors are used together with part of their images overlapping, thereby creating a wider (or taller) display more suitable for showing wide-screen video images. The term edge- blending relates to the fact that the overlap needs to be carefully handled to prevent the overlap causing image brightness problems.

    C2-2450A O PERATION ANUAL EDGE-BLENDING TOOL A powerful utility is available to allow simple setup of the unit; the application is designed to run on Windows XP and Vista. The following guide is designed for a 2x1 configuration, in practice if the scaler is dividing the image as well as providing a blend then up to an 8 x 8 configuration may be possible depending on the input and output resolutions.
