Replace hood, 2 screws and hose.

Agitator brushroll

When to replace
Disconnect cleaner from electrical outlet.
Warning - Brushroll can start suddenly.
Unplug cleaner when it is turned over. When
brushroll brushes are worn, it should be
replaced.
To check condition of brushes, move the edge
of a card across bottom plate while turning
brushroll. To maintain cleaning effectiveness,
replace brushroll if brushes do not touch card.
What to buy
When purchasing a new brushroll, ask for

15" -HOOVER part No. 48414115.

Raise nozzle up and replace the 2 screws on
the bottom.

Discard old agitator.
Continue following the directions in the "Belt
replacement" section to replace belt, new agi-
tator, agitator cover and hood.
