Turn the throttle
grip
to the
low speed
position.
Put the
shift
lever
in the
Neutral
position.
Run the engine
for 2-3 min-
utes at idling
speed
if it has
been running
at full speed.
Push
the
stop
switch
to
stop the engine.
Put
the
shift
lever
in the
Neutral
position
and
run
the engine
for 2-3
minutes
at idling
speed.
Turn the main switch
key to
the OFF position
or pull out
the stop switch
lock.

Note:
e After stopping
the engine,
close the air vent screw on the tank cap.

Disconnect
the fuel connector
of the engine
or the fuel tank.
a Disconnect
the battery cord of the EF or EP type engine,
if the engine
WII not be used for more than 3 days.
