Pass
the
Cord
assembly
from
the
Remote
control
box
through
the
hole
in the
Motor
cover
lower
and
connect
the
electric
termi-
nals
according
to the
drawing
below.

Mounting
the battery
(1)
Place
the
battery
box
in a convenient
position
away
from
possible
spray
damage.
Securely
fasten
both
the
box
and
battery
so they
do
not
shake
loose.
A 12 V battery
with
a recommended
capacity
of 40 AH or more
is recom-
mended.
A WARNING
Hydrogen
gas
is generated
when
a battery
is charged.
Therefore,
keep
the
battery
well
ventilated
during
charging.
Electric
sparks,
cigarette
smoking
and
other
sources
of fire
must
be
avoided
in the
charging
area
to prevent
explosion
of the
battery.
*The
battery
fluid
(electrolyte)
contains
sulfuric
acid.
If any
electrolyte
is spilled
on the
skin,
clothes,
etc.,
wash
with
copious
amounts
of water
and
consult
a doctor.
Always
use safety
glasses
and
rubber
gloves
when
handling
the
battery.
